About the Author A man of many talents, Professor Khurshid Ahmad (born 1932) has been a university professor, scholar, economist, writer, Muslim preacher, and politician, serving two terms as a member of the Senate in Pakistan, his home country. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Master’s degrees in Economics and Islamic Studies, and Honorary Doctorates in Education and Islamic Economics, he has served in many positions in associations, committees, councils and boards in Pakistan, the UK and Saudi Arabia. Professor Khurshid Ahmad received awards for his work on Islamic economics and finance and was also recognized with the King Faisal International Prize in 1990. |
